Featuring Cathie Wood on Big Ideas 2024 & The Dalí Museum with works of Salvador Dalí
Please join us to celebrate the launch of “ARK Innovate!” a new digital space hosted by ARK Invest on February 12th, with doors opening at 3pm ET. ARK Innovate offers a digital space for exploration, discovery, community, gatherings, and of course, ARK brainstorms! It will feel very familiar, like an identical twin might, for those who have visited the ARK Innovation Center, or ”ARK Educate!” f/k/a the Tampa Bay Innovation Center.
We see a future of business and cultural content being created, streamed, and consumed online. Also, creators and developers are moving to the front of the line, with professional studio production-level tools in hand, along with many other new and more efficient pathways to find their fans, audiences and friends. In order for us to share in these success stories of community and collaboration, we need a modern space to meet these needs. In this case, we depended on the capable team at Vatom, acting as our architects and general contractors, while the interior decor was left to our teams at ARK Invest, The Dalí Museum, and Signum Growth.
This special event will feature Cathie Wood on the main stage speaking at 4pm ET, and all are welcome to join us. Cathie will speak about ARK’s Big Ideas 2024 - its conclusions challenge us to push our vision further out into the future than we normally might, both to discover and to get on the right side of change.
The first gathering will also feature a first-of-its-kind, purposefully symbolic, collaboration between ARK Invest and The Dalí Museum. We will be celebrating what the future will bring, in the midst of Salvador Dalí, one of the most celebrated and forward thinking artists of all time. As noted by The Dalí Museum, his fiercely technical yet highly unusual paintings, sculptures and visionary explorations in film and life-size interactive art ushered in a new generation of imaginative expression. From his personal life to his professional endeavors, he always took great risks and proved how rich the world can be when you dare to embrace pure, boundless creativity.
Finally, we must mention education. For those who are unaware, ARK Invest’s research has been made age appropriate for children and is being used to bring STEM education (science, technology, engineering and math) to sixth graders across the Pinellas County Florida public school science curriculum. The ARK Analysts and their deep exploration of all things innovation are the people who make this possible. Come wander, explore and learn in the many rooms, hosted by the ARK Analysts. They will either attend live, or their holograms will be at the door to welcome you. A Few Excerpts from ARK’s Big Ideas 2024
Technological Convergence: Catalyzed by breakthroughs in artificial intelligence, the global equity market value associated with disruptive innovation could increase from 16% of the total to more than 60% by 2030.
Artificial Intelligence: The convergence of hardware and software could drive AI training costs down by 75% at an annual rate through 2030.
Bitcoin: During the last seven years, bitcoin’s annualized return has averaged ~44%, while that of other major assets has averaged 5.7%. In 2023, bitcoin’s price surged 155%, reaching $827 billion in market cap.
Digital Consumers: spending on digital leisure should take share from physical options and grow 19% at an annual rate during the next seven years, from $7 trillion in 2023 to $23 trillion in 2030.
Digital Wallets: closed loop consumer payments, merchant banking, and employee payroll/payments will increase select vertical software platforms' revenues by 22-33% at an annual rate during the next seven years, from $7 billion in 2023 to $27-$50 billion in 2030.
Precision Therapies: the enterprise value of companies focused on precision therapies could appreciate 28% at an annual rate during the next seven years, from ~$820 billion in 2023 to ~$4.5 trillion by 2030.
Multiomic Tools & Technology: multiomic tools and technology could reduce research and development (R&D) spending per drug by more than 25%.
Electric Vehicles: electric vehicle sales will scale 33% at an annual rate during the next seven years, from roughly 10 million in 2023 to 74 million in 2030.
Robotics: As hardware and software costs decline according to Wright’s Law, AI should continue to improve productivity and create a new market opportunity for generalizable robotics that, at scale, exceeds $24 trillion in revenue annually.
Robotaxis: robotaxi platforms could redefine personal mobility and generate $28 trillion in enterprise value during the next five to ten years.
Autonomous Logistics: autonomous delivery revenues could scale from essentially nil today to $900 billion in 2030.
Reusable Rockets: satellite connectivity revenues could reach $130 billion in 2030, still just a fraction of the roughly $2 trillion in telecommunications revenue.
3D Printing: 3D printing revenues could scale ~40% at an annual rate during the next seven years, from ~$18 billion today to ~$180 billion in 2030.
